Spelling Bee

Ghlac Rang 5/6 páirt sa chomórtas Spelling Bee le déanaí. Phiocadh ceathrar páiste ó gach rang (tar éis comórtas ranga) chun dul ar aghaidh go dtí an craobh scoile. Bhailigh gach duine le chéile sa halla chun breathnú ar an gcraobh.  Comhghairdeas le Lucy as Rang Ciara a bhí an bua aici ar an lá.

Chuaigh sí ar aghaidh go dtí an craobh contae le déanaí agus tháinig sí sa chéad cúig áit sa chontae. Maith thú Lucy!

Rang 5/6 recently took part in the Eason’s Spelling Bee competition. Following an in class competition, 4 children were picked to compete in a school final. Everybody gathered in the halla to enjoy this event. Congratulations to Lucy in Rang Ciara who won on the day.

Lucy then went on to represent GMC in the county final and finished in the top 5 in the county. Maith thú Lucy!
